These clouds are part of Dan Sinnott's Irish Lines
- an HO layout. They were painted using spray paint applied to a solid blue
background. I used a few cardboard cutouts as a spraying template. The holes in
the cardboard were scalloped curves shaped a bit like the tops of clouds. Hold
the cardboard so that it is parallel to the backdrop and a few (1, 2, 3 or so)
inches away from it. Closer gives sharper edges while farther yields softer
edges. After spraying lightly move the template and rotate it a little then
repeat. Overlap the sprayed areas.
